Planetary ball mill (PM 100)

Retsch PM 100 in field assisted sintering laboratory at the University of Rostock

Retsch PM 100 is used to grind and mix powders that are soft, medium-hard and extremely hard, brittle or fibrous. In this device, both dry and wet grinding is possible. Grinding bowls are used for milling powders with a nominal volume of 12-500 ml. The suitable grinding bowl materials are agate, sintered corundum, zirconium oxide, stainless steel, special steel and tungsten carbide.
