Alexander Riess M.Sc.

Scientific assistant

Alexander Riess studied mechanical engineering in the fields of mechatronics and drivetrain technology at the University of Rostock. He finished his master thesis on „Development and commissioning of a telemetry system for drive test stands“ in 2016.

Parallel to his studies Alexander was a member of the Shell Eco team at the University of Rostock and participated in Shell Eco-marathon, an energy efficiency competition. He gained his first industrial experience during an internship at Ferdinand Schulz Nachfolger, where he supported the dimensioning of an hydraulic lift system for vehicles.

At the chair of Microfluidics Alexander is concerned with the development and maintaining of control systems for various process cells. In addition he undertakes tasks in training.
