Drive control
The lecture teaches the basics for the selection and design of control and communication elements for motion drives and the programming of digital controls.

Content:
- Introduction
- Binary logic (logic operations, state tables, switching networks, memory elements)
- Electrical control (relays, contact controls, circuit diagrams, electronic components) Computer-based controls, PLC (microcontrollers, PLC - structure and function, PLC programming) Communication (networks, bus systems, communication protocols)
- Sensor systems (classification, displacement measurement, angle encoders)
- Controlled drive train (control loop, path planning, modeling, cascade control)
