The formation of drops at different printheads (Inkjet, electromechanical valves) can be observed and analysed with an optical test stand. Key elements of the construction are a high-resolution video camera, the print head system and a high-power LED for short-term exposure of drops. The captured images and video sequences allow statements about speed, size and shape of the ejected drops.
