Together with the company Diagnostic Systems and Technologies (DST) in Schwerin and the University of Rostock, a joint project deals with point-of-care allergy diagnostics. The aim of this joint project is the automation of an in vitro diagnostic test platform. Part of this project is the development of a robust fluidic system for the point-of-care test cartrige. The focus is on the improvement of the fluid properties in the test cartridges for manual and automatic operation. The project promotes the path of a high quality multi-parameter test for allergies and a new generation of point-of-care diagnostics.
