Response - Inkjet technologies used for reservoir-based drug delivery system

The chair of fluid technology and microfluidics is partner of the scientific network RESPONSE. Within this network the chair aims for the use of inkjet technologies for reservoir-based drug-delivery systems. For example sharply contoured, microsized reservoirs are manufactured by laser-drilling of metallic substrates. These reservoirs can be laden with drugs by the use of inkjet printing. The scope of work is the development of improved drug-eluting systems.

RESPONSE is funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (program: “Zwanzig20 – Partnerschaft für Innovationen”).
