Clemens Lieberwirth M.Sc.

Scientific assistent

Clemens Lieberwirth studied mechanical engineering from 2008 until 2014 at the University of Rostock.  He concentrated on structural engineering and mechanical engineering design & computer aided design. During his study he worked with different Fused Deposition Modelling (FDM) systems. He received his master thesis on the subject “Development and design of a multi material extruder for FDM printer”, what was the basis of his further investigations. As of 2014 Clemens Lieberwirth is a scientific assistant at the Institute of Fluid Technology and Microfluidic Technology at the University of Rostock. In his scientific work he is engaged in a collaborative project with the development of an extruder and material system for the Composite Extrusion Modelling. This means the extrusion based additive manufacturing of metal parts by use of standard metal injection moulding materials.
