Scientific assistant

Oliver Schmiedl studied mechanical engineering in the fields of thermodynamics/combustion engine and drivetrain technology at the University of Rostock from 2011 to 2017. He finished his master thesis on the follwing topic: „Further development of the engine test stand for the vehicle of the Shell Eco-Marathon competition“. During his studies, he gained practical experience on test station setup, while he worked as a student assistant at the chair of drivetrain technology and he completed an internship at FVTR company about flow simulation of common-rail injection systems. Parallel to his studies Oliver was a member of the Shell Eco team at the University of Rostock.

At the chair of Microfluidics Oliver works on topic : „Creation of a development environment for active steering systems“.
